Thursday was the first time I have ever experienced food poisoning... not fun.
Aaron and I decided to go to McDonald's Wednesday night and I wanted to be a bit healthier... so I got some kind of chicken taco salad thingy... who gets salad from McDonald's you say? Well that's not actually what made me sick... Thanks to the jerks at McDonald's they didn't get our order right (as per usual) they gave me the right salad, but the wrong dressing... so instead of going back and complaining, we decided that we would use this salad dressing we already had at home that was similar to the one I was supposed to have originally. That my friends was the the problem. I guess the dressing was too old and made me very sick...
Moral of the story: Complain. If McDonald's just got their orders right for once in their lives I wouldn't have had that salad dressing that made me sick. I should have gone back but lesson learned. Don't eat anything from McDonald's anyways. haha.

Ride em' Cowboy!
Last week Aaron and I went to the Calgary Stampede. I have been every year but 2 since I was like... one maybe? I really do love it. I guess that's just how it goes when you're born and raised in Calgary... the only thing is... once you hit a certain age it's not that fun anymore. When you're a kid, you go on rides all day until you can't walk anymore and get a little treat or two and it's a blast! When you get older you kinda go to be cool and independent and hang out with your friends, go on a few rides maybe, then when you get a bit older and settle down it's nice to get out but Aaron and I don't drink so it's not always that fun being around drunk people... and unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on everything it's not that great, especially being poor students =P. We did go on a few rides though! We also got to see Theory of a Deadman live, Super Dogs is always fun too and we were able to make it and get front row seats! I personally love to watch people and the Stampede is full of different people so I enjoyed that too... we stayed there until the fireworks and then went home.

Then a few days later we found out that a ride broke down... while people were riding it. I guess no one was seriously injured...pretty banged up I guess... buuut I think that's the last time I'm going on those rides.
Ps... Candy apples are my favorite - and if Aaron was writing this, the first thing he would tell you about is how yummy mini doughnuts are and how much he loves them and how they're also a rip-off haha

Rihanna!
A couple of weeks ago I was able to go to Rihanna's "Last Girl on Earth" Rated R concert, it was BY FAR the most amazing concert I've ever been to. It was fairly creepy to be honest but it was so much fun! I brought my brother Clay with me because we grew up dancing to Rihanna in the living room, at dances, and in the car. She is amazing live and I appreciate artists and the music they provide for us to enjoy, I quite enjoyed myself.

Poor Pretty Puppy
My puppy just got a hair cut the other day and I was taking him for a walk when this little girl walks past us and says "Mommy, that puppy is sooo pretty"... Too bad Bear is a boy. I even cut his "pigtails" off that the lady left him so he looked more manly. Poor puppy... love you Bear xo
